Fall is almost here. I'm pumped to say the least. Fall means my birthday celebration and blog celebration are coming soon. I will be 23 years young and the blog will be celebrating 1 year online. I'm pumped about what is to come.

Who doesn't love a skater dress? They look great on everyone. That is your cue to purchase one the next time you're out shopping. 

The season for returning back to school is finally upon us. I cannot believe how quickly the summer has gone by this year. I feel like I just made the two-hour drive from campus and now I am turning around to greet my senior year of undergrad right in the face.

Every now and then it's important to step outside of your comfort zone with your wardrobe. Try a new style or new cut. This summer alone, I've tackled my fear of cropped tops and bikinis. What are you afraid to wear? 

You finally decided to big chop, now what? You can read my big chop story here. I got my hair cut this weekend, so it's heavier up top and tapered on my sides and back. I'm still getting used to it, but I love that it's easy to maintain.

I love this textured top because it's different. I tried it on at a whim and fell in love. Does that ever happen to you? Trying new things can be exciting even if they turn out to be totally let downs. Step outside of your comfort zone the next time you're out shopping.

 You can recreate this look with any pencil skirt + t-shirt. Try mixing textures + colors to create a more interesting look. I have this skirt in black and cobalt blue because it's so eye-catching yet simple.

August is almost halfway over and so it 2015. Time is flying by. This year has been super life-altering for me. I graduated from college, moved back to Kansas City, and started working as a freelancer. I will catch you all up below. 

I can't stress how much I love t-shirts. Like they are comfortable and inexpensive, which makes them perfect for recent grads like myself. I am determine to find as many ways to style t-shirts as possible.
