The Official Jasmine Diane Spring Brunch Recap
The Jasmine Diane Spring Brunch was a huge success. I was thrilled to host my first big event in Kansas City. Brunch was filled with beautiful women, spring dresses, rich conversation and of course delicious tuscan eats. I really can’t put into words what it meant to see so many intelligent, young and ambitious women of color on one space. That’s what missing in media... positive images of events where we, women of color, look great doing positive things versus the opposite. The Best Part of Brunch
My favorite part of brunch was the conversation. We discussed our careers, aspirations and even our dating lives. Imagine a room filled with your closest cousins and girlfriends, that’s what the Jasmine Diane Spring Brunch felt like. I was nervous to put the idea of brunch out there, but as tickets began to sell my heart was full with anticipation for my girls. Everyone looks flawless from head to toe, from sun dresses to flare pants to sun hats. There was nothing but slayage in sight.
Least Favorite Part
I hated that brunch was only 2 hours. It felt like we ran out of time to dive deeper into conversation. Other than that, I was super pleased with the beautiful crowd, good food, service from Brio Tuscan Grill, and the inspiring conversation.

What to Expect at the Next Brunch
Next time I will open up the guest list to accommodate more ladies and add more time for conversation. But I don’t know how many ladies… because I honestly loved the intimacy of our group.
