I jump out of the bed and straight into the books or online everyday. My calendar is always booked with work, church, content writing, photo shoots, fashion shows and family time.

It's been a year and some change since I graduated from the University of Missouri. Time is literally flying. I turned 24 last month and can still remember the craziness of my 21st birthday in college. College days are a thing of the past that I still yearn from at times, but I've come to realize that I can't go back. Working 40+ hours per week forever is quite depressing unless you love what you do. I'm still learning what I love and deciding what I want for myself professionally, mentally and emotionally.

2016 is walking right out of my life and I'm glad to see it go. This year has been amazing, from being featured in Marie Claire Magazine to working with big brands like Starbucks to landing my first full-time job at an ad agency to becoming active in ministry at my church. 2016 has also been super scary... I started the year without a job and no money in my savings account and lot's of fear about what my future held.

For this look, I paired my new fav pink dress with my white chucks & denim jacket to create a relaxed, feminine fall look. I can't help the fact that I love soft colors and pink just so happens to be one of my favorites. The older I get, the more essential basics become to my style.

Black and white never gets old. As my 24th birthday approaches, I've made an honest effort to hone in on my personal style. Looking through older images made me realize that my style, much like my life was all over the place. Gasps. There is a huge correlation between your external and internal if you ask me.
