I love this top. It's so versatile and free flowing. I've worn it more than a handful of times since I bought it from Old Navy in October. Black and white outfits have become my new obsession. Fall is here and the dead things are falling like raindrops. It is refreshing to know that everything and everyone walking out of my life wasn't meant to stay. Happy Monday! First, how cute is this fringe top from Label Content? This weekend was super eventful for me, from a fashion show, to new hair, to church, to organizing my home office and finally a trip to the laundromat. Did I mention spending Friday night sweating in a garage working out with my trainer? In light of everything that happen, I woke up grateful and lighter.

For this look, I paired my new fav pink dress with my white chucks & denim jacket to create a relaxed, feminine fall look. I can't help the fact that I love soft colors and pink just so happens to be one of my favorites. The older I get, the more essential basics become to my style.

My first time in New York City was absolutely amazing and terrifying, yet freeing at the same time. I flew from KC to DC to NYC. Flying into New York City at night was the best decision I've made in a long time. The city looked so magical, so many lights. I left Kansas City determined to come back with clarity about my future and less fear. They say if you can make it in New York City you can make it anywhere, so this was my test. 

Pinch me... I sat front row at my first New York Fashion Week Show last week. The KLS Spring/ Summer 2017 Collection was stunning from start to finish. I have a couple of favorite pieces from the collection that I will get into later. More than anything, I was overjoyed to see diverse models. Yes... KLS served #blackgirlmagic down the runway.
