Do you enjoy reading good books? Me too. Reading has always been an escape for me and I realized that I stopped reading post-grad and wanted to pick the habit back up. This year, I set out to complete 12 books and I ended up reading 8 books.

In terms of genres, I’m a sucker for a good Black love story and practical self-help books. The Sweetest Remedy and We Should All Be Millionaires were my favs. But the entire list was moving and inspiring. Some books I read and others I listened to.

Keep scrolling for my top 8 books to read in 2023!
