I used to think that I could do anything under the sun on my own. There was a time when my inner feminist stood taller than the Empire State building. I was so sure that I could and should do everything that a man could do. I was positive that I only needed a man to procreate and that we were equal aside from that. But things have changed.

This post may ruffle a few feathers and cause a little disruption... so brace yourself. The reason you're unhappy with your boyfriend, husband, lover, honey, sweet thang or whatever you want to call him is because you aren't treating your relationship like a business.

Being in love isn’t enough. I am sick and tired of women ignoring themselves. We walk around on eggshells to please men. Men who are absolutely comfortable with us minimizing our greatness to be their sidekicks. Let me say it again for the people in the back.
