Faux fur is my current style obsession. I've been collecting fur scarves, vest and coats since Mid-November. I still can't believe that it was negative six degrees last week in Kansas City. This fur coat kept me warm and slaying while doing it. I felt a little Lil' Kim in the 90s. 

Today I'm sharing what you need to know about being Black and female in advertising. I have worked in advertising for almost two years now on some pretty big brands. I love the industry and all the flexibility that comes with it, but growing up I never knew that advertising was open to me.

You can never go wrong with black on black, ever. Not to mention that I'm a sucker for these metallic sandals. This look works because of the movement in the pants and pop of color that the sandals provide.

This top is one of my new favorites. I was looking for vacation looks with my stylist, Kyla Cherry, and we landed on this multi wear blouse from Tobi. I fell in love with the way it made me feel, so powerful and undeniably sexy. It comes in stripes, too. The white version is more of a closet staple, so I went with it.
