We survived Valentine’s Day, ladies. Now that my favorite holiday is over, it’s time to get back to my healthy lifestyle. Spring is on it’s way and I’m not quite ready. Are you ready for spring, sis? I’m stoked about the Jasmine Diane Spring Brunch coming next month. If you haven’t already, sign up for my email list to be the first to know about ticket sales. Now that housekeeping is done, let’s talk about rocking lace and gray sweatshirts.

First things first, I’m madly in love with this lace, navy skirt from Forever21. I bought it last year on clearance and always seem to find myself wearing it to fashion shows. Hello Tee sent me this sweatshirt and it’s safe to say that I wear it, a lot. It’s comfortable and reads, “Melanin Beauty.” I’m all about empowering Black women to feel comfortable in their God given skin. There is something powerful and attractive about self-confidence.

I felt like a boss in this look because it’s so me… a little prissy and a whole lot of comfort. As I’ve grown older, my style has turned to somewhat sporty yet super feminine. I love ruffles and lace, but can’t get enough of my white converse sneakers, too. LOL style is such a fun way to express yourself that you don’t have to stay stuck in one box. I would wear this outfit to brunch, to run errands or to do some shopping. The only downfall is the 6 inch heel on these booties… can you say “Hi arch!” LOL
