Instagram quotes, say what? Can you believe that there are only a handful of days left in 2015? It honestly blows my mind because this year was one of the best years of existence. I graduated from college, went to Saint Louis Fashion Week, started my web design business, and jumped into event planning. I would say that 2015 was the year that I overcame a lot of fears and decided to choose myself over other people. Quote #1: The minute you choose to do what you really want, it's a different kind of life. Think about it. When was the last time that you actually did exactly what your heart desired without worrying about what other people would say or think? Life is not about pleasing other people. Sometimes your purpose means disappointing people that you love and moving on from people who you have outgrown. You cannot grow and be stagnant at the same time. Choose to live a life that you love and appreciate without regrets or apologies. The choice is yours.

Quote #2: "You are so full of yourself." No, I had a lot of insecurities and low self esteem which I worked extremely hard to overcome & now I'm fabulous. Bye. Yep, this one is my favorite. Maybe because I used to write so much about my insecurities and heart aches, that when I finally stopped it made some people uncomfortable or maybe because I share a lot of positive things across social media. A while ago I decided to create the best version of myself and to shine my light, despite the background craziness going on in my world. This platform is for positivity and fashion inspiration. How are you showcasing yourself? You are fabulous, stop feeling bad about it.

Quote #3: You are under no obligation to be the same person you were a year, month, or even 15 minutes ago. You have the right to grow. No apologies. Stop apologizing for your growth and evolution. It is okay to change your mind. This is one that I struggle with still. After graduating from college, my views have changed a lot. I left as an 18 year old girl and came back a 22 year old woman with an opinion. Experiences are priceless and often change our perspectives on life as a whole. Stop feeling sorry for changing your mind or deciding to go down a different path.
